Scott Landry, CPCU

Scott Landry serves as President of Lane & Associates, Inc., an independent surplus lines broker and managing general agency headquartered in Louisiana. He has served as President since January 2014, following prior service as Executive Vice President and Vice President of Operations.

Scott began his career with Lane & Associates in 1996 as an E&S Underwriter and Broker. His experience across underwriting, operations, and executive leadership provides a comprehensive understanding of specialty distribution and the regulatory, operational, and strategic disciplines required for sustainable growth in the surplus lines marketplace.

He has maintained an active leadership role in Louisiana’s insurance industry, serving multiple terms as President of the Louisiana Surplus Line Association (2024–2025 and 2011–2012) and as a member of both the Louisiana Department of Insurance Surplus Lines Advisory Council and the Louisiana Property and Casualty Insurance Commission.

Scott earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Louisiana State University. He holds the CPCU, ASLI, AU, AU-M, AIS, and AIDA professional designations.

A resident of New Orleans, he is married to Barbie Lane Landry, CPA, and they have three children. He enjoys exercising, outdoor activities, and participating in endurance events.

Marie Hohensee, CIC

Marie Hohensee is Lane & Associates Vice President of Commercial Underwriting and assists the commercial underwriters in making sound and profitable decisions in placing business for our customers, as well as underwriting her own book of business. She’s originally from California but has called Louisiana her home for more than 25 years and has been working in insurance for more than 30 years!

Karen Bivona is a Lane & Associates underwriter. She underwrites, quotes and services general liability accounts for contractor risks, including our online Artisan Contractor General Liability Program. She has worked with the company for more than 35 years.
