27 Nov Lane and Associates Celebrates a Decade of Growth & Innovation
I am proud to announce that 2024 marks our 10th consecutive year of proper and sustainable growth at Lane & Associates. On behalf of our entire team, I want to thank our retail and carrier partners for your continued support.
Our corporate vision states: “Lane & Associates, Inc. will be the chosen source by our retail agency partners and the preferred producer for our carriers. We will provide a best-practice level of service, be the employer of choice, and a contributor to our community.” I believe we have made significant strides in 2024 toward realizing this vision.
For our retail partners, we have enhanced our back-office capabilities to provide even faster turnaround times for our key processes while maintaining a high quality level. We have significantly expanded our brokerage capabilities to place risks that are outside of our binding authority.
On the binding side, we will soon announce several new carrier partners that will give you additional options for your clients’ insurance needs. We continue to implement enabling technologies like LARS 2.0, which allows you to quickly obtain liability indications from several of our markets. We are also optimizing our underwriting processes to better concentrate our experts on helping you close more new business opportunities.
For our carrier partners, we continue to focus on best-in-class underwriting. We are standardizing our underwriting processes and utilizing external data sources to verify submission data. We’ve implemented additional quality assurance. We held our first internal underwriting summit, bringing together all of our underwriters to identify areas for improvement. We’ve implemented many of the ideas generated during the summit, and I am proud to say our recent underwriting audits average 97% accuracy.
In 2025, we will celebrate our 40th anniversary as an independent, family-owned wholesaler. Our success is largely driven by the outstanding team of dedicated professionals at Lane & Associates. Together we have built a corporate culture that cares and understands the value we provide. We will continue to work to improve our products and capabilities, give back to our local communities, and diligently earn your trust and respect.
