New Market for Remodelers – Key Points

  • No classification limitation
  • $1,000 MP for $1 m / $2 m limits
  • Target risks – true remodelers (not handymen)
  • New residential exclusions, roofing limitations, and condo conversion forms apply
  • For new construction work, we can rate as a General Contractor with a $2,500 MP for $1 m / $ 2 m limits in Texas only
  • Based on Gross Sales (still need payroll and cost of the hire of subs for possible rate credits)
  • Ability to add Blanket Additional Insured, Blanket Waiver, Blanket Primary/Non-contributory
    • Other Insurance Condition and Per Project Aggregate Limit Ends
  • Ability to include Misc Contractors Equipment for a minimal premium
  • Can waive the requirement for subs to be insured
